'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' originated from a straightforward vision: to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to Via Nazario Sauro, 31. Established by the Romano lineage in 1985, this pizza place started as a quaint, family-operated shop featuring recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Romano, our initiator, acquired the pizza craft during her explorations across Italy, honing her skills with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, the cradle of pizza. On her return to the UK, her goal was to replicate the remarkable Neapolitan pizza, embracing ancestral methods and supreme ingredients.
Once a humble establishment with only 12-seats, it has blossomed into a cherished neighborhood fixture, yet our dedication to excellence and genuineness has remained intact. We preserve the traditional wood-burning oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch each day, and select the top-tier ingredients obtainable.
Nowadays, 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' is still in the hands of the founding family, with the Romanos' next generation at the helm of our enthusiastic crew. Even as we adopt a few contemporary enhancements, the essence of our operations remains unchanged: producing savory, genuine pizzas that foster communal bonds.
